i want to go to a website called Chatango but my school has blocked it. along with myspace, facebook, etc. how can i get around this?

Try using firefox and put a proxy on it or find a website that is a tunnel which uses a different proxy for me my school have blocked all of the proxies and tunnels are getting blocked everyday. Best choice is to stop being addicted to myspace you spend to much time looking for a way to get around it and its useless in the end.

An option would be to get internet at home, but I know that isn't possible for everyone. If this site is educational, you need it for school, maybe talk to the librarian? Sorry I,m not much of a help, there isn't much you can do by the way of getting around the filters, sorry.

Your school has purchased software to keep its users inside policy guidelines. Basicly to protect its users and themselves they really dont want you to visit those sites. Due to inappropiate content or virus/malware.

But in the spirit of the question, I will start you on your search. The first thing you have to know is which software they are using to block. It should state the name in the browser window. From there lookup the name of the software on google. Find the company site and read the instruction manual. Its amazing how much you can find from just doing that.

Plus, when you do the google search you will find hundreds of pages on how to subvert that particualr product.

go to calculatepi.com and scroll down to the bottom. there's a place for you to put in whatever website you want. Be careful of pop-ups, though
