ok, so you know that the county has to pay for internet right? i mean you understand. ok, well they pay based on how much information is transferred through the "cable" (not a real cable, thats what they call it). the cable is only wide enough to fit, lets say 10,000 bytes of info. well if something such as myspace were used, everyone would be on it and the cable would widen costing the county more money. but thats not the only reason either. its also because the county believes that students shouldnt be on myspace at school. which is correct if you think about it because when do you have time to go on? and if something were to happen on myspace like cyberbullying the school cant just tell that go on, they have to do something about it. if these things happen outside of school like cyberbullying then the school doesnt have to worry about it because its not on their shoulders. do you understand? hope this makes somewhat of sense.

Second, schools are legally responsible for what content their student閳ユ獨 access on the web. MySpace is notorious for having content that is not school appropriate. Also, if a student was to make an inappropriate contact through the site while at school, the school could be held responsible.

Third, MySpace at school is redundant.

MySpace is a website designed to facilitate social interaction.

School is a place where you are surrounded by hundreds of other students your own age and that live in your area.

Instead of using MySpace to make friends and network, use the person sitting next to you that you don't know.

And another thing, if you was to start talkin to some pysco while you was at school, and somethin happened to you after you started talking to him, investigators could lead it back to the time you was in school and they could get in trouble because they wasn't monitoring you enough and your parents could sue teh school...the same old blah blah blah's your parent's have tried to tell you before.
