It's quite normal because you feel safer behind your PC than face to face.

Why not take her somewhere away from school so she can see you can actually talk to her without a keyboard?? Ask her if she will meet you in a town nearby on Saturday. Or a Park/bowling alley/ice rink....anywhere you WONT meet kids from school.

I think you are shy because you are afraid your friends will see you and tease you so take away that out of the experience....go where you wont meet your school mates!!!

She will think it is fun too to get 'away' from the noraml people and streets she sees. Get a bus ticket that allows you to ride all day...and agree to meet up on the bus at a certain time. Go for a couple of hours ride then find a nice town you can get off in. Make sure you check times for returning so you don't get stranded. Take money and take her to a cafe for lunch. Watch people go by and just relax....she knows you can talk to her on myspace so you just need to show you can actually talk with your mouth not just your fingers!

you have to start talking more in person no matter what you do because she will get tired of you. if you just talk online its like she doesnt really have you there so go out with her more and show her the real you. the more you guys hang out in person the more youll get comfortable with her and you wont feel so shy. plus you dont need to be shy around your own girlfriend
