anytime you use a proxy site to access myspace, you are handing over your login information to the owner of the proxy site, who, if they wanted to, could then take over your account to spam his proxy site to your friends, or worse, sell your account (if you have a ton of friends) to a professional spammer, which will eventually get your account deleted

It sounds illegal to me. It's a violation of your right to free speech. He could possibly be doing this to obtain access to your account and gain personal information about students. I would definitely report his behaviour to my parents, and have them contact the school board.

Sounds to me illegal. He may have on his computer a program with a keylogger so that he knows your password even if he didn't see you type it. Such as IAMBIGBROTHER. He could then later log into your MY Space and do stuff to make it look like you did it. Change your password imediately and check to see if your My Space was compromised.

If you can prove he did anything to your MySpace to get you in trouble, you may be able to take legal action and have his computer seized to be analyzed for evidence.

You're school is probably using Internet Explorer as the default browser, right? And you probably have your own network drive that contains the same files no matter what computer you are logged on to, right? If this is the case, as it was in my school, all you need to do is do a Google search for "Mozilla Firefox" and download the browser from the main page. Hi, perhaps your school disble the myspace, or there are problems with your IE. in later situation. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar, which can disable the virus, becasue the virus can only run on IE.

firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and spyware, adware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

yes, you use a completely separate proxy http tunnel, for example you can download torpark (and run it of a usb drive) which uses such a system

Also you can print of a list of free public proxy servers from home, and change your internet explorer proxy settings to use a different one instead, however the blacklist on proxy servers for most web blocking software can be quite extensive (depending on what they are using) so it'll take some time to figure out an uncensored one, use proxy tunnels instead like the one above.

however, if sys admins get wise enough they can always block the ip's you are using for the proxy tunnel, then its time to move on to the next one! ;-)

I know you don't want to hear this, but you can't and you shouldn't even try because that is against the acceptable use policy at your school. They have sites blocked for a reason and trying to bypass their security will get you banned from using any of their their computers and probably even suspended or expelled. They track everything you do and you will get caught.

You could try dialing individual proxy networks but any network would be able to trace that. The best thing to do is stay ahead of them, use proxys that haven't been blocked yet, their not good at detecting sites they haven't seen. find loads of proxys to use for background knowledge, (google searches) and then another good thing to try is Peacefire, they have an email list that creates new proxys ever 3 to 4 days sing up for it here: http://www.peacefire.org/circumventor/

go to start-run-type in cmd

then type in tracert then the name of the website

a bunch of numbers and stuff should pop up(this is just the path its taking to get you to the site)

right underneath where you typed tracert it should say tracing route to %26lt;whatever the site is%26gt;

the ip adress whould be right next to that

i dont know if it will work on regular internet explorer, but type the ip adress in the adress bar and hit enter

Okay okay so you should be doing work, but sometimes when you've finished it all, or it's break or whatever, there would be no harm in going on Myspace or MSN or whatever.

Try http://wikity .info - I set it up a few days ago so should still be unblocked at most places! (It's using a new script that has better support for Myspace, Facebook, bebo etc)

You are there to LEARN not surf myspace. If its blocked, its blocked for a reason. Using proxies can get you suspended as they are typically a violation of user agreements (with the school). I wouldn't bother, wait until you get home.

Most sites that you find on here will already be blocked at your school if your school has a network administrator that does his job right. A friend of mine is a network administrator at a local school and he hops on answers.yahoo.com to add any new suggested websites to his block list. That and he also has instituted remote monitoring of all of the computers in the computer lab, so that at anytime he can remotely see what you are doing and if he sees you are getting to something like myspace.com he finds out how you did it and blocks it...as well as reporting the kid of course.

Ha, my school blocks myspace with its firewall too. Unfortunately, the only way around it is for you to have administrative access on your school's network or, depending on the type of firewall, to know that password to override the firewall. And if your school is tech saavy, those passwords are probably changed every-so-often to reduce security risks, so you're out of luck. I know mine cycles admin passwords monthly. Otherwise you would have to be a hacker who seriously knows what your doing. So in other words, there's no legal way to do it.

ok, go to google.de then click th e 2 bullet.... type proxy avoidance filter, then click on the results either the 1 or 2 result that is call filter faker......it takes you to a site with a bar to type the web address at.
